A fully spectacular find on the Swan Range.  From that fantastic vantage level other main access jumping off routes for the Bob Marshall Wilderness had been seen up and down the Swan Range.  To the north Holland Lake marked the trail system from there, and south Pyramid Peak marked the entry routes over Pyramid Pass.   The world - such a surprise, and now I knew there was another route into the Bob.  Truth be recognized, though the climb was, well....,  a climb, it actually didn’t take as lengthy to make it to the Bob Marshall boundary as taking the opposite {two} main routes.

what sizes should I consider? I've tried semi and full QH bars and both pinched her. She's a big 17.2 hand dutch warmblood... I'm a dressage rider but I would love to get a western saddle for trail riding. Any suggestions? Thank you!


Answer:

If I were you, I'd find a draft horse sized Western saddle and try that on her. It might fit better than the full QH bars. Many saddleries let you borrow saddles on trial to see if they fit - look into that and see what you think.
